FUN ILLUSTRATED ITINERARY MAP
This is an illustrated itinerary map of what has to be the longest trip I've ever done! Going from Nicaragua to Australia is quite a long way. My flight plan was initially to go from Managua to Dallas for a 1 night stop-over before heading to Australia. But 12 hours before departure I was notified that the flight was cancelled and that I had to find another way to get to Dallas... The entire trip took me from Managua, to Miami, to Dallas, to Los Angeles and to Sydney and lasted 3 days!
#whereiwas is a challenge I set to myself at the beginning of 2019. The idea was to create in less than 2 hours 1 map every day of places I visited that exact same day in the past. The goal is to explore different visual styles, develop new skills and improve my creative process.
