Created for the 2025 Explore Flint & Genesee visitor guide, this fun illustrated map spans a full spread and showcases both Genesee County and a zoomed-in view of Greater Downtown Flint for improved readability.
The design features 16 playful illustrations of local attractions and landmarks: from museums and famous buildings to happy characters enjoying outdoor activities. In total, 45 points of interest are plotted and divided into three main categories: attractions, parks, and golf courses. Each category is identified by a dedicated icon, alongside additional symbols for the airport, train station, kayak launches, and accommodation areas.
To keep the map clear and easy to navigate, every point of interest is numbered, with a legend matching each number to its corresponding location. The result is a lively and engaging map that invites visitors to explore the area and discover its many highlights.
