Fictional city street map

Collaboration with a science fiction author to design an entire fictional city from scratch and create its street map. Modus City is conceived as a lakeside city roughly the size of San Francisco, located in the mid-West.

I created the complete city layout (with all the neighbourhoods, each inspired by different cities from around the world), named every street, and designed the final street map. The result is a city that feels geographically coherent and believable within the world of the novel.
